IBSB MUN 2022 Rules of Procedure

The Rules of Procedure of an MUN are the basic guidelines of how the conference should function: they explain the rules and what delegates can and cannot do, they outline how the committee sessions should run, they state the appropriate language that should be used and how to use it, and so on.

They are extremely important because, not only do they serve as a tool for beginner delegates to better understand how the conference is going to function, but they also clearly state what is and is not allowed, and the consequences that will take place if these rules are violated. As such, it is critical that all delegates read and understand them before the conference begins.

The conference will take place in a format that is a mix between BISMUN and HMCE format – see the Rules of Procedure below for more information.
