Apply as a Delegate
IBSB MUN’s first edition will take place between 11-13 March 2022!
Held on the main campus, IBSB MUN promises an incredible experience and lots of wonderful surprises, all of which will be revealed soon!
Our committees and topics are as follows:
Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC): The impact of the CFA Franc Monetary Union on Central and West African states’ development
European Council (EUCO): Addressing instability in the European Union’s Eastern flank
Historical Security Council (HSC): The Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia (1968)
International Criminal Court (ICC): The Prosecutor v Omar Al-Bashir
UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC): Preventing the use of torture as a method of investigation
Delegate applications are now open until the 9th of February, so come join us for an amazing opportunity!
In order to apply, you only have 4 simple steps:
- Download the Application Form, and fill in the information.
- Send the file to mun@ibsb.ro
- After receiving your application, we will send your school an invoice for the delegates fee.
- Once we receive the proof of payment, we will get in contact with you to request more information for each delegate, and allocate countries and committees based on your preferences (if you want to get a sneak peak at what positions are available, you can click on the country matrix linked on this page).
IMPORTANT: In order to apply, you must gather a delegation, with a teacher chaperone, who will be available during the conference (the maximum student to teacher ratio is 10:1).
– The delegate fee will be 55 euros per person if paid before the 17th of December (early bird fee), and 60 euros per person if paid after that and until the 8th of February (late bird fee).
– The age range for this conference is 14-19 (high school age).
– All participants must have a COVID-19 Green Pass in order to attend.
